FAMILY INFORMATION:

Married 45 years to Mike.

We have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. The grandchildren are 17, 13, 5, 17 months and the 5th will be born in April. I love spending time with all of them.



WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE:

I am retired after working for the State of Iowa for 29 years.

I work part-time for Wells Fargo Arena in the box office. I enjoy working with people so this job is perfect for me.



WAS THERE SOMETHING AT JOHNSTON THAT INSPIRED YOU OR CHANGED YOU AND THUS BECAME PART OF YOUR DAILY LIFE?

Since I left Johnston after 8th grade I do not have the high school memories. I graduated from East High School.

I missed the small school closeness when I left but I do remember the good times with my close friends (Judy Sullivan, Sandy Reier, and Susan Cannon). With Susan I remember roaming around Camp Dodge and roller skating in one of the old buildings. Actually there were many friends and I am very glad I have been able to connect with some of these friends by joining a Finance Club.

Going from a small school to a much larger school was quite an experience. I have always wished I was able to graduate from Johnston. But since I did not, I have a great loyalty to East High. My 3 daughters went there and now I have 2 grandchildren attending East or soon will be attending.

1997 - 35th Reunion:

After finishing Eighth grade, I left Johnston and went to Hiatt Junior High, graduated from East High School.

Married for 35 years and have three daughters and two grandchildren.

Employed by the state of iowa.
