Work/Retirement History
I worked for my father in the grocery business until I was 24. Then I had a pizza house & bar in the late 60’s. In the 70’s I had 6 tire stores and an automotive distribution warehouse. In the 80’s I manufactured pick-up truck accessories. Since the late 80’s I have been in real estate development and leasing.
Look forward to seeing you in August.
Life’s Highlights
I have been very fortunate in the business world and blessed with a large, healthy family.
I enjoy gardening, wildlife and our animals on our hobby farm. We like to travel and drive through the small towns. I have been married to the love of my life, Candy, for 17 years. We have 2 children together.
My wife's name is Candy. I have seven children--Jordan, 9; Brianna, 11; Charlie,17; Amy, 21; Mary 23; Sean, 25; and James, 27.
My oldest boys work in the family business--Putco, which manufactures pick-up truck accessories. James is the National Sales Manager and Sean is the Research and Development Director. My oldest daughter, Mary has a floral shop called Blossoms and Bows at Villge Square Mall. Amy is a senior at Grandview College, the younger three children are in school.
Also have 2 dogs, a Bouvier de Flandres and a Maltese, and one black domestic cat.
I'm working daily involved in real estate, manufacturing and restaurants. We just opened a steakhouse on Ingersoll called Spurs this year.
