2007 - 45th Reunion:
FAMILY INFORMATION:
Married with two daughters; Jenny (29) and Jody (31), and three grandchildren; Hannah (3), Nicholas (2) and Ethan (6 months).
WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE:
I don’t think I will ever retire from working at my -- what I call my real job -- at Fawn Engineering -- going on 30 years. I might retire from that at 65, ‘but’, I don’t know. At least I cut down to 40 hours a week. I work 7 days a week right now; 24 hours at Qwest on weekends (or should I say I’m there).
Lottery: don’t play
Politics: still a Democrat and will always be one
What makes me smile: taking care of my grandkids and talking to my old classmates and seeing them from time to time
What makes me run: working and talking to people. About running -- last summer on one hot day I tried to run a block or two. Right? Wrong thing to do. I could hardly walk back home. No more of that, my running days are over. Too old, I guess!?!?!?!
WAS THERE SOMETHING AT JOHNSTON THAT INSPIRED YOU OR CHANGED YOU AND THUS BECAME PART OF YOUR DAILY LIFE?
What really changed my life from Johnston happened after the 30-year class reunion when I started writing to some of you classmates and calling -- the first one was Ken Jarvis. After that, I just started writing other classmates. I know it takes up time you should be spending with your kids or doing something else -- please try to forgive me.
As for words from a teacher, about all I can remember is: How many more years do you have in school? or Keep trying and you might get it. And from a coach: run faster!!!
Activities with friends: I only had 3 guys I ran around with, John Theisen, Ed Sweeney and Ray Betz. I guess back then I lived way up in Herrold, Iowa, too far away from anyone else?!?!?! I hope to a lot of classmates at the 45th reunion!
2002 - 40th Reunion:

28 years in the Iowa Army National Guard. Will get retirement check 1 year from this August – will be the big 60, can’t wait. Boy will I be old!
Life’s Highlights
Got married in September 1975.
Had one daughter in 1976 and the other daughter in 1979.
Went to Germany in 1982 while in the Army.
Went to California in 1984 by train on family vacation and came back by plane. Went to Disneyland while there.
What ever happened to? Jim Reichenbach
1997 - 35th Reunion:
Jody is 20 and out of high school, graduating from North in '95. Jenny graduated from North this year and is 18 years old. They both still dance at Charlene's. My dad passed away in 1992 and my mother still lives on a farm down by Truro, IA. She is 82 and would not be happy living anywhere else, I am sure.
I worked at Pioneer Seed Corn for 11 years and then went to Fawn Engineering in October 1977 and still working there. I retired from the Army National Guard after about 27 good years, for a retirement that I can draw at age 60; in about 6 years--boy I am getting old, that must be why they told me to retire. I also work for Per-Mar Security Company on weekends. As some of you know, that is when I write to you or call you on weekends. I hope I don't take up too much of your time.
I am looking forward to seeing as many old classmates as I can. With each reunion I feel that I am getting to know a lot more of you better than I did in high school. But after all I lived way up in Herrold at that time (ha! Ha!).
Hope to see you all in July!
